A stay of history and charm

San Firmino Bed & Breakfast occupies the second floor of an ancient Venetian residence, a 16th-century palace that retains all the charm of its era. The property faces the charming Campo Santa Maria Formosa to the east, the waterfront crossed by gondolas to the west, and the magnificent Baroque facade of the church of the same name to the south.
Inside, the historic beauty is preserved in the details: the three-meter-high ceilings with Venetian-style beams, the original beams and floors dating back to the 1600s, authentic testimonies of the past that give a unique and refined atmosphere. Completing the elegance of each room are splendid Murano glass chandeliers, masterpieces of Venetian glass art, which diffuse a warm and enveloping light, enhancing the timeless charm of the residence.

Wonderful experience to be repeated for sure

Beautiful B&B in an old building, but with all the comforts (even the elevator, which is rare in Venice), with a wonderful style decor, which I really appreciated. Our room was large and communicating with our daughter's room, equally large, overlooking the canal and the square, really impressive. The very kind and helpful host Lorenzo welcomed us and made us feel comfortable right away and gave us lots of advice. We will definitely be back.
